However\, knowledge transfer is complex due to the difficulties in defining\, storing and circulating knowledge. This challenge increases even more when knowledge is transferred across national\, cultural and linguistic borders. Despite the importance of the topic\, prior research has been fragmented and sometimes inconclusive\, partly due to disciplinary boundaries.
