2nd Göttingen China Workshop on Globalization, Macroeconomics, and Development
The 2nd Göttingen China Workshop on Globalization, Macroeconomics, and Development will take place at the University of Göttingen on 2–3 July 2026 in ZHG 103.
Workshop Schedule
- 2 July: 1:30 pm–5:45 pm
- 3 July: 9:00 am–2:30 pm
The workshop brings together junior and senior researchers working in economics and China studies to discuss current research on globalization, macroeconomics, and development. In addition to invited speakers, 3–5 presentation slots may be reserved for researchers from the University of Göttingen, depending on demand.

Registration
Researchers and students interested in attending are warmly invited to join. Participation is welcome even if attendance is only possible for part of the workshop.
To assist with planning, participants are kindly asked to register by 15 June 2026. Late registration will remain possible, but early registration is greatly appreciated.
The workshop is organized by Lei Li, Andreas Fuchs, Krisztina Kis-Katos, Udo Kreickemeier, and Xiaohua Yu.
