New Perspectives on Modernity in China
In the last 150 years, China has modernized in ways often unexpected and hence is a challenge to Western assumptions about the nature of modernity. In this lecture series, we will look at modern Chinese history, philosophy, religion, politics etc. presenting research that is addressing important questions triggered by these developments.
