Prof. Li Lei receives the “Best Working Paper Award 2025” from the University of Hong Kong

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Li Lei, Professor of Economics and Politics of China at the University of Göttingen, has been awarded the prestigious Best Working Paper Award 2025 by the University of Hong Kong.

His awarded paper, titled “Trade, Trees, and Lives: The Ethics of Global Economic Interactions”, was recognized for its outstanding contribution to the study of global trade, ethics, and sustainability.
